Notice: We are splitting the race into two separate races on two back to back days Saturday Dec 14 for the 25k and Sunday December 15 for the 50k. This will relieve some of the trail congestion in the early miles and will allow for a few more runners to join in the fun! 

25k When: Saturday, December 14, 2013
7:00am-7:45am Check-in(no runner check-in the day before).
8:00am Race start(No early start)
1:00pm Race Cutoff


50k When: Sunday December 15 2013

7:00am-7:45am Check-in(no runner check-in the day before).
8:00am Race start(No early start)
4:00pm Race Cutoff

Entry Fees: 
50k: $65 or $75 after Dec 1st. (not including shirt) 
25k: $45 or $55 after Dec 1st  (not including shirt)  

Registration opens at 7am on July 24th on Ultra Signup

You'll also need to have a Discover Pass($30 annual) or pay a $10 entrance fee to enter the park.

Cutoff Time: 4:00 pm (8 hours) for the 50k and 1:00pm (5 hours) for the 25k
For the 50k cutoffs will be enforced at 10am at mile 7.3 and at mile 28.2 at 3:15pm.
For the 25k cutoffs will be enforced at 10:30 at mile 7.3



Aid Stations: There will be 2 aid stations for the 25k (both at Bowman Bay) at mile 5.5 and mile 7.3 and there will be 5 aid stations for the 50k (1st two at Bowman Bay and the last 3 at Cornet Bay) at miles 5.5, 7.3, 14.6, 21.4, 28.2.  

Drop Bags:  50k runners can have drop bags at Bowman Bay and Cornet Bay. No drop bags for the 25k. 


Post Race: We'll hang out at the finish line, drinking tasty beverages and eating yummy hot food. 

Slumber Party: Just like at Orcas Island this state park has a retreat center that the race will rent out for the weekend. Folks who would like to hang out for the whole weekend and stay in the bunkhouses the night before and or after the race. The cost is $50 per person and would include 3 nights(friday, saturday and sunday) of lodging in bunkhouses (bathrooms, showers, electric heat, bunk beds) and access to kitchen and dining area.
  
Refund Policy: No refunds but entry fees can be transferred for use at a future Rainshadow Running race.
